ITINERARY - PADDLE TO HANDICRAFT VILLAGES TOUR
- Pick up from your hotel to our kayak station in Cam Thanh village for a briefing on kayaking route and safety.
- You’ll then spend around 4 hours to discover Thu Bon river – the most important traffic system in Hoi An.
- There’re plenty opportunities to interact with local fishermen and farmers. Dockyards, mangroves, vegetable gardens, bird life, local houses and uninteruppted ocean view will all be featured on your paddle.
- On the way, there’s time to pay a visit to a local house in Duy Vinh village, where the local hosts happily show you their traditional sedge mattress weaving craft.
- You’ll also spend time at a bamboo studio in Cam Thanh village and listen to the story of 3-generation family with deep passion for bamboo craft.
- You’ll be surprised and excited to see all the different household facilities that created out of bamboo and how they keep old technologies will not be forgotten. Then return back to our office. Tour ends.
